Our team is growing! We're seeking a Staff Accountant who will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. In this position, you’ll manage daily cash flow across multiple companies, support revenue recognition and billing, handle tax filings, and assist with financial process improvements. You’ll work closely with our Controller, Accounting Operations Manager, Payroll, AP, and Collections teams, gaining exposure across a broad spectrum of financial functions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Cash Flow & Bank Reconciliation (25%): Oversee daily cash activity, balance and reconcile multiple bank accounts.

  • Billing & Revenue Support (20%): Prepare and review miscellaneous billings to ensure accurate revenue tracking.

  • Journal Entries (15%): Compile monthly journal entries to support the financial close process.

  • Tax Filing (10%): Prepare monthly and quarterly returns for sales/use, excise, and utility taxes.

  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations (10%): Maintain the accuracy and integrity of key accounts.

  • Commission Reviews (10%): Audit and confirm commission calculations and reporting.

  • Cross-Team Support (10%): Assist with Accounts Payable, Collections, payroll liaison duties, and ad hoc projects.

You’ll Also:

  • Contribute to special projects such as process improvements, internal controls, and system enhancements.

  • Collaborate across departments including IT, Learning & Development, and Finance to support financial integrity and operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience

  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience

  • Hands-on experience managing cash across multiple bank accounts or entities

  • Solid knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)

  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and organized

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a cross-functional team
